Streaming
I have chosen the username @monasticgamer because in many ways I am a monk. Undistracted by the real world and living apart from it. Alms I receive provide me with everything I need for my spiritual practice to go on indefinitely. I meditate, I fast, I shave my head. And I approach video games religiously.
My first ever stream was at 4 AM on August 31, 2023, local time - Latvia.
My art hobby
I like Photoshop. It helps me create these weird abstract digital portraits. Moreover, the process of creating art for me is highly immersive, it helps me escape 'life' for a while. I can spend an entire day doing my blue-green pictures and not get bored. That's wonderful! How blessed I am to have such a hobby.
Right now I am doing portraits of celebrities and uploading them to my Instagram and Twitter. My closely guarded hope is that this blue-green style goes viral.
